Programme

Our employment and site ready programme is made up of:

Inductions session

A one day induction session to make sure the programme is suitable for you.

This will include:

• a capability assessment,
• ID check,
• CV writing, and
• mock Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) testing.

Five day course

A five day classroom-based learning course awarding the following qualifications:

• Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (QNUK Accredited)
• L2 Asbestos Awareness (QNUK Accredited)
• Abrasive Wheels and Disc Cutter Safety (L2 QNUK Accredited)
• QNUK L2 Fire Safety for the Fire Marshall
• QNUK Level 2 Safe working with ladders and stepladders
• ARCo Working at height awareness
• Traffic Marshall and Plant Machinery Awareness
• CSCS card

Work experience

A one to two week onsite experience placement on a live construction site in southeast Wales
